The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced today, Friday, February 21, 2025, the neutralization of nine terrorists from the PKK organization in northern Iraq.
In a statement, the ministry claimed its determination to continue its war against separatists and eliminate terrorism at its sources, noting that nine PKK terrorists were neutralized in the “Claw-Lock” operation area in northern Iraq.
The Turkish authorities use the term “neutralization” to refer to operations in which enemy forces are killed, wounded, or captured.
